A few things worth knowing before you begin.

What is Hush?

Hush is a privacy-first AI bot that can chat, keep context, and get work done on a computer. Confidential bots use confidential LLMs for inference and a dedicated cloud computer for browser, terminal, and file tasks. Skills help you shape how they work.

What makes the AI confidential?

Confidential bots use NEAR AI models whose provider metadata confirms they run inside trusted execution environments. Hush refuses the run if that status can’t be confirmed and never falls back to a standard model. Hush checks provider metadata; it does not independently verify hardware attestation.

This applies to model inference. Your Hush deployment still stores conversations and files. Bot computers are separate cloud environments with their own provider privacy boundaries; they are not confidential-computing enclaves.

What does “private” mean?

Sign-up collects no name, email, or phone. Credentials are stored as hashes, and the core has no analytics or telemetry. Conversations and files are saved for your assistants, so anything you share there may identify you. External model and computer providers have their own privacy boundaries.

How does computer use work?

Give your bot a task in chat. It can use a browser, terminal, and files in its connected computer. Open the computer panel when you want to watch or take over. Available computer types depend on your plan and deployment.

What if I lose my account number?

Your number is shown once when you create an account. Save it somewhere safe: it can’t be recovered, and there is no email-based reset.

Do I need a subscription?

You can explore the workspace first. An active subscription is required to send messages, start computers, and run schedules. Plans cover your team for the term you choose, with no automatic renewal.
